H&R Block in Georgia is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, leveraging advanced tax training and support from an expert team.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the business by increasing client retention and offering additional services. This role offers seasonal engagement and the opportunity to develop expert tax skills within a trusted franchise network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
