Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to service clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to help you succeed.

As you inspire clients to make confident decisions, you’ll conduct interviews, prepare returns, and identify opportunities to grow the office’s business while maintaining IRS compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support—including audit representation where applicable
