H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert support team.

You'll complete tax interviews, prepare returns, and help clients make confident financial decisions while benefiting from advanced tax training and franchisee guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Education
