Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Tax Preparer in Wheaton, IL for a permanent, on-site role. The specialist will prepare and review returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing tax planning guidance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax-prep experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, and proficiency in ProSystems FX and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of tax preparation experience.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent status preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review complex tax returns including Form 709, 1065, 1041 and corporate returns.
• Ensure tax forms and supporting documentation are complete and compliant with federal and state tax laws.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to minimize tax liabilities.
• Research tax laws and regulations to stay updated on changes.
• Utilize ProSystems FX and advanced Excel to maintain and analyze financial data.
• Work closely with clients to gather information and address tax-related queries or concerns.
• Assist in estate tax returns and manage tax issues related to trusts and private foundations.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all tax-related requirements are met.
