Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university with a major in economics or finance.
• Four years of progressively responsible work experience conducting complex economic research studies and analyses.
• Substitutions allowed as described in the minimum qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare studies using accepted statistical and analytical techniques to assist in developing new tax legislation and in evaluating existing tax policies and tax programs.
• Provide statistical support and maintain econometric models and data required to predict tax collections based on forecasts.
• Assist in analyzing revenue impacts of proposed legislation and evaluating tax policy options.
