Job summary

Qualifications

• CPA license is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Proven expertise in managing complex tax engagements and serving as a trusted advisor.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive federal, state, and local tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns and workpapers.
• Act as a strategic advisor, understanding client business objectives and offering tailored solutions.
• Forge and sustain relationships with client executives, business owners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple engagements with planning, staffing, budgeting, timelines, deliverables, and profitability.
• Drive firm growth through proactive client service and strategic guidance.
• Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, and identifying new service opportunities.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff Accountants.
