Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Tax Manager for a growing CPA firm in the East Valley.

You will supervise and mentor a small tax team, review and sign federal and multi-state returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations, reporting to Tax Partners and Senior Managers. This role offers a base salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 and a path to Partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's in Tax is a plus.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with ability to develop others.
• Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and provide proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with research and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with tax software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities
