Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• CPA designation is required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for developing others.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a small team of tax professionals.
• Review and sign federal and multi-state tax returns for various entity types.
• Manage multiple client priorities and deadlines.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• Research and resolve complex technical tax issues.
• Communicate directly with clients on tax matters.
