Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Senior Tax Manager in the East Valley. You will supervise and mentor a small team and review/sign federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations.

This role offers a base salary of $140,000-$175,000 with a clear path to Partner, reporting to Tax Partners & Senior Managers and working closely with them to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications.
• Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a small tax team.

• Collaborate with Tax Partners and Senior Managers to ensure quality tax work.
• Support client relationships through proactive service and clear communication.

This role will report to, and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level.

Base salary for this role is $140,000-$175,000.
