Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Progressive experience managing complex tax engagements.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experience reviewing partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, trusts, estates, and individual tax returns.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Experience with tax software and research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business and individual tax clients.
• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Lead tax planning and consulting engagements for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Identify and implement tax-saving strategies for clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on tax and business matters.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Tax Managers, Seniors, and Staff.
• Review workpapers and ensure compliance with firm quality standards.
• Participate in business development activities and assist with client retention efforts.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impacts on clients.
• Collaborate with partners and other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
