Job summary

SPG is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Tax in Omaha, NE to lead a portfolio of business tax engagements. The role blends technical tax expertise with client relationship management and people leadership, mentoring staff, and shaping tax practice strategy with firm leadership.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in public accounting, strong knowledge of partnerships and corporations, and a CPA license. The position offers in-office work with some flexibility and a clear path toward partnership

Qualifications

Active CPA license required.
Approximately 8+ years of public accounting experience.
Strong business tax background.
Experience with partnerships, S-Corporations, and/or C-Corporations.
Demonstrated client relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain strong relationships with business clients.
Oversee tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements.
Review complex business tax returns and related work.
Lead and develop Tax Managers, Seniors, and Staff.
Collaborate with firm Partners and senior leadership on client and practice strategy.
Participate in business development and firm growth initiatives.
