Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation (MTax) or Accounting preferred.
• 6 years of public accounting experience with complex tax engagements.
• Proven ability to manage high-level client relationships and drive business development.
• Deep expertise in federal and state tax compliance, planning, and advisory.
• Strong leadership and mentorship of diverse teams and workflows.
• Outstanding executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee a diverse portfolio of complex tax engagements for corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth clients.
• Provide high-level tax planning, restructuring, and consulting services.
• Assume final review responsibilities for intricate tax filings.
• Drive engagement profitability by managing project economics, budgets, realization rates, and client billing cycles.
• Cultivate new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing accounts.
• Collaborate across service lines to cross-sell holistic business solutions.
• Represent the firm in the local market through networking events and thought leadership initiatives.
• Lead strategic planning and operational improvements within the tax department.
