Job summary

Asset Preservation Wealth & Tax is seeking an experienced in-person Tax Preparer to join our office team in Oregon. The role requires meeting with clients on-site, reviewing complex federal and state returns, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

CPA preferred; EA and JD candidates may be considered. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of tax preparation experience for individuals, trusts, estates, and businesses, with strong knowledge of current tax legislation and planning capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years preparing high-net-worth individual, business, and trust tax returns.
• Knowledge of the latest legislation and regulations.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred; EA and/or JD considered.

Responsibilities

• 5-7 years preparing high-net-worth individual, business, and trust tax returns.
• Interviewing clients

• Work with advisors to provide tax-efficient solutions to client needs
• Draft client and advisor communications on behalf of the tax department
• Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations
