Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks a Senior Tax Manager focused on high net worth and private equity clients in West Palm Beach, FL. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office, partnering with a reputable CPA firm to review complex partnership and HNW returns and to provide planning and compliance services.

The position requires 6–8 years of public accounting tax experience, CPA or eligibility, and MS in Taxation preferred. Strong client service and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review large, complicated partnership tax returns and HNW individual tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and compliance services to high net worth and private equity clients.
• Assist entire Tax practice in resolving day-to-day tax issues.
• Communicate with federal and state tax authorities as needed.
• Research complex tax issues.
• Mentor and train staff.

A well known reputable CPA firm are continuously growing and are looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager HNW/Private client and Private Equity industry specific. The position will be a hybrid-3 days in office in WPB, Florida.

• Reviewing large, complicated partnership tax returns and HNW individual tax returns
• Provide tax planning and compliance services to high net worth and private equity clients
• Assisting entire Tax practice in resolving day-to-day tax issues
• Communicating with federal and state tax authorities as needed
• Researching complex tax issues
• Mentoring and training staff
• 6 - 8 years of recent experience with strong tax compliance and research background, specific to Private Equity clients
• CPA or CPA eligibility
• MS in Taxation preferred
• Public accounting experience required
• Strong team player and a commitment to high quality, detailed work
• Ability to deal with clients and possess “executive presence”
• Strong computer skills, with experience in a paperless environment
