We are searching for a Senior Manager of Tax to be a strategic team member of the Payroll Team. This team is responsible for payroll taxes for over 50,000 employees. The team is in several states and has multiple employers with different payroll schedules. We are searching for candidates with a strong payroll and tax background. The salary range for the role is $130K to $150K, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all payroll tax service functions
• Work with multiple departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery of payroll tax
• Key member of the management team driving the development of the future ERP implementation for the payroll function
• Look to increase efficiency and productivity of the payroll tax function
• Manage corporate initiatives, programs, and projects
• Lead by example to motivate and deliver exceptional service for the department and team
• Build and maintain a strong functional team through recruiting, training, coaching, and team building

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required
• Ten years of progressive work experience in a high-volume environment required
• Proficient in Payroll Tax (multi-state)
• SAP ERP experience would be great to have

**Working hybrid in the DC/Baltimore area
