Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Tax Manager for a growing CPA firm in the East Valley (Tempe area). You will supervise and mentor a small tax team and review/sign federal and multi-state returns for C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations.

The role reports to Tax Partners & Senior Managers and offers a path to Partner. Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $175,000, with full benefits and opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s in Tax a plus.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting; 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring; developing others.
• Build trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge; ability to research complex issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; direct client communications.
• Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred.

We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager with a growing CPA firm in the East Valley. This role will report to, and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level.

Base salary for this role is $140,000-$175,000.

Qualifications

• Batchelor’s degree in accounting required. Master's degree in Tax a plus
• CPA designation required
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes
