Most "path to partner" lines are a polite way of saying maybe, one day, if a few people retire. This one is written into the job. It's a Senior Tax Manager seat in Valencia with a firm of under 50 people, $172k to $192k, and partner is the stated next step rather than a vague hope.

You'd be the senior reviewer on the harder returns, look after your own clients and stand next to them when the IRS comes calling. The firm does tax, audit and some outsourced CFO work, so there's plenty going on around you. Nobody's promised me a number on hours for this one, so ask.
