Job summary

GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead its public tax practice, delivering tax compliance and consulting to a diverse client base. You will manage a motivated team, set priorities, and build strong client relationships in the local market.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Accounting/Finance, an MS in Taxation, a CPA, and 5+ years in public accounting tax supervisory roles. Bi-lingual abilities are a plus as you guide staff and contribute to firm growth through

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent.
• Master of Science in Taxation degree (highly desirable).
• CPA Certificate.
• 5+ years of proven experience in public accounting, in a tax supervisory role.
• Must be able to lead and motivate a team of highly motivated individuals to a final goal.
• Must have strong multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual is desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of highly motivated tax accountants
• Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
• Oversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries
• Meet regularly with business and community contacts to maintain a network within the local market
• Provide timely and complete evaluations and counseling for the staff accountants
