Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to serve as a respected SME on federal, state, and international tax issues. You will evaluate positions, identify risks, and provide practical recommendations to finance leadership from a hands-on, collaborative role.

Key duties include reviewing federal and multi-state returns, supporting ASC 740 provisions, managing audits, and coordinating with external advisors on transfer pricing and international matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of corporate tax experience.
• Deep understanding of ASC 740 and corporate tax accounting.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns.
• Analyze schedules, book-to-tax adjustments and tax positions.
• Assist with estimated tax calculations and filing requirements.
• Provide guidance to finance stakeholders on tax compliance matters.
• Support quarterly and annual tax provision reviews under ASC 740.
• Review deferred tax calculations and uncertain tax positions.
• Advise on tax accounting impacts of business transactions.
• Assist with responses to federal, state, and local tax notices and audits.
• Coordinate documentation requests with external advisors.
• Support transfer pricing and international tax considerations.
