Angove Partners Limited is expanding its team to hire a Tax Associate who will transition into a Broking role focused on tax liability insurance. The role leverages deep tax expertise to assess risk in transactions and to structure tailored insurance solutions for clients and carriers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PQE in tax or corporate law, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. The position is remote with a preference for East Coast-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years PQE in tax or corporate law
• Experience with tax risk and structuring
• Exposure to M&A tax scenarios
• Ability to explain complex tax issues clearly
• East Coast remote work preference and collaboration

Responsabilités

• Assess tax risks for M&A transactions, restructurings, and financial arrangements
• Analyse tax opinions, legal docs, and financial statements for risk exposure
• Collaborate with brokers, legal counsel, and internal teams to structure and price tax liability insurance
• Monitor market trends, legislation, and case law to guide underwriting decisions
• Assist in negotiating policy terms with brokers and clients
• Maintain relationships with law firms, tax advisors, and insurers
• Support senior underwriters in growing the tax insurance portfolio
