Falcon Rappaport & Berkman PLLC seeks an experienced associate or partner for its Long Island office, with remote option available. The role focuses on sophisticated income, gift, estate, GST, and cross-border tax matters, including client guidance and project leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in tax practice, strong Office skills, and an LL.M. in Taxation. Experience drafting Circular 230 opinions and mentoring staff is highly valued.

Qualificações

• At least five years of income tax experience in a law firm or accounting firm.
• Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; mastery preferred.
• Preferred: Authorship of an IRS Circular 230‑compliant tax opinion.
• Preferred: Direct client contact, project management or supervision of junior staff.
• Preferred: Dual-licensed attorney/CPA.
• Preferred: LL.M. in Taxation from NYU, Georgetown, Boston Univ., or Miami.
• Preferred: Experience in 1031 exchanges, QOZ, estate/gift/GST planning, cross-border tax, or mergers and acquisitions.
