Our client is a boutique financial advisory firm specializing in wealth management, financial advisory, and tax/accounting services. As they continue to expand their clientele, they are looking to hire a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to gather financial information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.(1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120.)
• Meet with clients as needed, perform tax planning duties, & resolve tax notices as needed.
• Ensure compliance with current tax regulations and filing deadlines.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize refunds.
• Address client questions and concerns regarding tax laws and their applications.
• Communicate with tax authorities to resolve issues such as audits or discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of client financial information.
• Stay updated on changes to tax laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Collaborate with other team members to support complex tax scenarios and provide comprehensive client solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Registration and/or licensure with applicable regional agencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of relevant software, such as Intuit QuickBooks or Ultratax
