The role emphasizes complex tax returns, mentorship of associates, and maintaining high standards of client service. Based in Sonora or Modesto, you will contribute to a legacy-driven firm with a century of experience, participate in a broad service mix, and advance with opportunities across tax

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting.
• Minimum one year as tax associate or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lead, prioritize, thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Superior client service with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Has a strong conviction and holds to the Firm’s core values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Focus on complex tasks and manage the Firm’s comprehensive compliance process.
• Train, monitor, and develop associates.
• Prepare tax returns at a more complex level and conduct self-review before submission.
• Manage service quality, thoroughness, and accuracy.
• Maintain client relationships and provide proposed solutions.
• Work autonomously under tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Learn from mistakes and develop in role, collaborate with client service team.
