DSB Rock Island in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our high-performing tax team. In this client-facing role, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to advise high-net-worth individuals, private businesses, and investment entities while mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.

You’ll lead tax compliance and advisory services, review complex returns, manage engagements, and deliver proactive planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation a plus.
• CPA or EA preferred.
• 3+ years of tax experience reviewing complex returns.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, private businesses, and investment entities
• Review complex individual, partnership, S-corporation, C-corporation, and multi-state tax returns
• Manage client engagements, ensuring quality, timelines, risk management, and profitability
• Deliver proactive tax planning and insights to clients
• Build strong internal and external client relationships
• Stay current on tax law changes and serve as a resource to the team
• Lead, coach, and mentor staff to support their growth and alignment with DSBRI’s values
