Job summary

Aline Accounting Partners in Texas is seeking a tax professional with 3+ years of public accounting tax experience to join our team. You will prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations, and support tax planning and client advisory projects.

You will manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates, while mentoring junior staff and helping to improve client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or EA designation preferred, or actively pursuing.
• Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns.
• Assist with tax planning, research, and client advisory projects.
• Manage multiple tax engagements while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide updates.
• Research federal and state tax issues and summarize findings for managers and partners.
• Support the development of junior team members through guidance and review.
• Identify opportunities to improve client service and support broader engagement needs.
• Collaborate with managers, partners, and other team members throughout the tax process.
