As Tax Manager, you will lead tax engagements across industries, reviewing and preparing returns, managing client relationships, and mentoring staff in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will handle multi-state individual, partnership, and corporate returns, develop proactive tax planning strategies, and ensure accurate client deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA required.
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage engagements and develop staff.
• Client management: Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Tools: Proficiency in tax and accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex tax engagements, including multi-state and specialized tax returns.
• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
• Review tax workpapers, returns, and client deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Research complex tax matters and provide practical recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with Partners and leadership to support client service, engagement execution, and firm growth.
