Job summary
San Antonio boutique-style accounting firm is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to handle a variety of tax prep and review for local businesses, LLCs, partnerships, trusts, and C-Corps. You will prepare and review returns, enter data into CCH, Pro System, and UltraTax, ensuring compliance with firm guidelines and federal regulations.
Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of tax prep experience, CPA eligibility or EA pursuit, and strong proficiency with tax software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, stats, business administration or related field.
- CPA eligible; CPA license or EA is a plus, or pursuing EA.
- 3–4 years of solid tax prep and review experience in a local firm.
- Proficient with tax software programs and current tax laws.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for various entities including corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high net worth individuals.
- Enter information into tax prep software such as CCH, ProSystem, and UltraTax.
- Ensure filings comply with firm guidelines and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with IRS when resolutions are needed and assist junior staff.
