Job summary

RÖDL USA in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Tax Associate to serve predominantly US-inbound manufacturing and distribution clients.

You will prepare and review federal/state returns, assist with ASC 740 provisions, manage multiple engagements, perform tax research, and mentor staff.

This role requires 4+ years of tax experience, CPA preferred, strong English communication, and a collaborative, process-driven mindset. On-site with robust benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in federal and state income tax, including public accounting
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation
  • Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry
  • CCH Axcess tax experience
  • Excellent research, writing and communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns
  • Assist with the preparation and review of income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, answering ad-hoc tax-related inquiries, handling notices, and addressing client requests
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
  • Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal, state, and international tax topics
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations; perform in-depth tax search, deliver timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associates and interns

You will provide services to predominantly US-inbound international businesses in the manufacturing and distribution industry. What you will do:

What you need to bring:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision experience
