LHH partners with a Dallas-based, stable service company to add a Senior Tax Accountant to the team. This role oversees daily tax functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, and supports planning efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
• CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• 2–4 years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state corporate income tax returns, ensuring accurate filings.
• Handle indirect tax reporting, including sales and use tax and property tax returns.
• Support ongoing income tax compliance activities and related reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with federal, state, local, and international tax authorities and external advisors.
• Maintain tax documentation and assist in developing and improving tax processes while ensuring internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline procedures, and improve tax operations.
• Partner with Accounting and other stakeholders to support tax planning initiatives and process improvements.
• Assist with additional tax-related responsibilities and special projects as needed.
