Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its corporate tax team. The role focuses on tax compliance, tax accounting, planning initiatives, and process improvements within a multi-state environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in corporate tax, strong ASC 740 knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. You will partner with accounting, finance, and operations teams to drive tax strategy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or industry required.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and tax accounting principles required.
• Experience with ASC 740 tax provision calculations preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with tax software applications expected.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax filings.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision process, including schedules and reconciliations.
• Analyze legislative and regulatory tax developments and assess impact on tax strategy and reporting.
• Conduct technical tax research and prepare memoranda with conclusions and recommendations.
• Mentor and guide less experienced tax professionals; review workpapers.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen controls and scalability.
• Participate in special projects, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic tax matters.
