Job summary

Credo is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our Tax team. This role supports direct and indirect tax activities including compliance, transfer pricing, inter-company settlements, and tax audits, collaborating with cross-functional and cross-border teams.

The base salary range is $83,000–$140,000 per year, with discretionary bonus, equity, and a full benefits package. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to broaden expertise across tax domains.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications are listed in the ad and include a degree in accounting/finance/taxation or related field.
  • 3–5 years of tax experience with public accounting and/or corporate tax preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with tax compliance, transfer pricing, intercompany settlements, and income tax provision.
  • Ability to manage third-party service providers, budgets and timelines.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with NetSuite preferred.
  • Comfort with AI tools to streamline tax processes and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review indirect tax filings (VAT/GST/Sales & Use Tax, property tax) across jurisdictions.
  • Manage inter-company transactions and settlements, aligned with transfer pricing.
  • Perform TP calculations and support TP documentation and schedules.
  • Coordinate corporate income tax return prep with external vendors and oversee deadlines.
  • Prepare FBAR and other foreign asset reporting as required.
  • Support ASC 740 income tax provision calculations and related analyses.
  • Assist in responding to tax authority requests and audit defense documentation.
  • Support studies like R&D credits and Section 382 analyses as needed.
  • Manage relationships with third-party tax advisors and vendors; oversee timelines/budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation in tax processes.

Base salary range

is $83,000 - $140,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred)
  • 3-5 years of relevant tax experience; a combination of public accounting and corporate in‑house tax experience preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with tax compliance, transfer pricing, intercompany settlements, income tax provision
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third‑party service providers, including scoping work, reviewing deliverables, and managing budgets/timelines
  • Strong Excel skills; along with familiarity NetSuite is preferred
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools and technology to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and cross‑border/global teams
  • Self‑starter with a strong willingness to learn and take on new tax projects and areas of responsibility
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review indirect tax filings (VAT/GST/Sales & Use Tax, property tax etc.) across applicable jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with local regulatory requirements, and reconcile indirect tax accounts
  • Manage and monitor inter‑company (I/C) transactions and settlements across entities, ensuring balances are accurately recorded and reconciled in line with transfer pricing policies
  • Perform transfer pricing (TP) calculations and true‑up analyses in accordance with intercompany agreements and TP policy; assist in preparing transfer pricing documentation and supporting schedules
  • Coordinate corporate income tax return preparation with external tax vendors, including managing the information requests, reviewing vendor‑prepared returns and workpapers for accuracy, and tracking filing deadlines across relevant jurisdictions
  • Prepare and file FBAR (Foreign Bank Account Report) and other foreign asset/account reporting requirements in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Support quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations under ASC 740 and other applicable accounting standards
  • Assist in responding to tax authority information requests and audit queries, and prepare supporting documentation and analysis for audit defense
  • Support special tax studies and analyses such as R&D tax credit studies, Section 382 ownership change/NOL limitation analyses, and other ad hoc technical projects as needed with a strong willingness to learn and take on new areas of tax responsibility as they arise
  • Manage relationships with third‑party tax advisors and vendors, including coordinating deliverables, reviewing work product, managing timelines and budgets, and acting as the primary point of contact for outsourced tax work
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to improve the efficiency and accuracy of tax processes, workpapers, and reporting
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Treasury teams, and work closely with regional/global tax colleagues across different jurisdictions
