True North Consultants, Inc. in Phoenix near Sky Harbor Airport is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to assist the Tax Director with the preparation of the Company’s US federal income tax returns.

The role is located in Phoenix with a hybrid work schedule and a salary range of $85K to $115K DOE. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and four years of experience in Tax and/or Accounting; or a Bachelor's with two years in a Big 4 public accounting firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with four (4) years of experience in Tax and/or Accounting; OR
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as an Accountant for a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Experience with U.S. income tax rules and regulations, including emphasis in the area of corporate consolidations
• Proficient in use of BNA, RIA, CCH and other tax and accounting research tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tax Director with preparation of the Company’s US federal income tax returns.
• Support tax research and documentation related to corporate consolidations and compliance.

Our client is adding a Senior Tax Analyst to their staff. The Senior Tax Analyst will primarily be responsible for assisting Tax Director with preparation of the Company’s US federal income tax returns. This role located in Phoenix close to Sky Harbor Airport. This role has a salary range of $85K to $115K DOE and a hybrid work schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, and four (4) years of experience in Tax and/or Accounting; OR
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as an Accountant for a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Experience with U.S. income tax rules and regulations, including emphasis in the area of corporate consolidations
• Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook).
• Proficient in use of BNA, RIA, CCH and other tax and accounting research tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting or Tax
• CPA designation highly preferred
• Experience with SAP, OneStream, Corptax, Alteryx, Business Objects, Microsoft Power Query and Power BI applications.
