Job summary

Archer Lewis LLC, a national accounting and advisory firm with Bellevue/Washington roots, seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to lead complex tax and accounting engagements. You will mentor staff, ensure timely delivery, review financial statements and tax returns, and contribute to firm-wide process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or EA license, 5+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• CPA or EA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex tax and accounting engagements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and schedules for completeness and compliance.
• Prepare and review advanced individual and business tax returns across entity types.
• Lead tax research on complex issues and apply findings to client situations.
• Support advanced tax planning initiatives and provide strategic advisory guidance.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements for clients.
