Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to work in person at a local Block Advisors office.

You will prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct client interviews to understand finances, and provide clear, personalized recommendations. You will build trusted year-round relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, and support clients with IRS notices and audit guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing advisory roles with strong communication skills.
• Experience preparing complex individual and business tax returns, including planning and notices.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
