Job summary

Frost, PLLC, a full-service public accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced tax professional in Yuma, AZ. The role centers on advisory and planning for diverse clients, with focus on agribusiness and complex tax engagements.

You will lead and mentor staff, manage tax returns, and build strong client relationships while contributing to team growth and learning at Frost, PLLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Seven or more years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience serving agribusiness clients preferred.
• Experience in mid-sized or larger public accounting firms preferred.
• Proficiency with CCH Axcess, Prosystem fx Engagement, and AnswerConnect.

Responsibilities

• Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes and develop effective strategies.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop staff, seniors, and supervisors, nurturing growth and learning.
• Tax Expertise: Engage in comprehensive tax planning and compliance, managing intricate tax returns and special engagements.
• Client Engagement: Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, understanding their business needs beyond tax.
• Project Management: Manage timelines and budgets, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Network Building: Expand professional network, contributing to firm growth and client retention.
• Problem Solving: Provide innovative solutions to complex tax issues.
