The position requires CPA licensure, 5+ tax seasons in public accounting, and multistate tax experience; agribusiness familiarity and prior mid-sized firm work are preferred. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Five or more tax seasons of public accounting experience.
• Experience with multistate taxation.
• Experience serving agribusiness clients is preferred.
• Experience at a mid-sized or larger public accounting firm is preferred.
• Proficiency with CCH Axcess, CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, CCH AnswerConnect, and other tax software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and provide high-quality service.
• Lead tax team as a resource and mentor.
• Perform high-level reviews ensuring accuracy and documentation.
• Research tax issues and develop practical solutions.
• Manage assignments and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends.
• Support professional development and training of team members.
