Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, and to interview clients to understand their financial situations and tax implications.

You will build trusted, year-round relationships, offer tax savings opportunities, and collaborate with a team to deliver client-focused service using training and technology. This in-person role offers competitive pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses
• Client-facing, consultative or advisory role
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Build year-round client relationships and identify savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
