Exemplar Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Advisor to support high-net-worth client engagements during the upcoming tax season. This is a remote, seasonal, full-time role with dates January 4, 2027 to April 16, 2027.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax experience, CPA or EA, and strong technical knowledge. You will work with the Director of Tax and Client Success Coordinator to ensure accurate, timely filings and client service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in preparing HNW/UHNW individual, business, corporate, and trust tax returns.
• CPA license or EA credential.
• Experience preparing a broad range of tax returns (1040, 1040-NR, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1041).
• Strong technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, organization, and quality.
• Strong communication and client-service skills, with remote teamwork ability.
• Ability to work the full seasonal schedule from Jan 4 to Apr 16, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business, corporate, and trust returns for HNW/UHNW clients.
• Prepare federal returns including 1040, 1040-NR, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1041.
• Gather information from clients and ensure timely filing.
• Analyze financial data to ensure complete, accurate returns.
• Use tax software for return prep and planning.

About the Role

Exemplar Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Advisor to support individual and business tax engagements for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients during the upcoming tax season. This is a seasonal, full-time remote position for a tax professional with strong technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business, corporate, and trust tax returns for HNW and UHNW clients.
• Prepare federal tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1040-NR, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and 1041.
• Work directly with clients to gather information, clarify tax-related questions, and support accurate, timely filing.
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify issues and ensure complete, accurate returns.
• Use tax preparation and tax-planning software to support return preparation and planning activities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Tax and Client Success Coordinator to coordinate client engagements and meet deadlines.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training as needed.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience preparing HNW and UHNW individual, business, corporate, and trust tax returns.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.
• Experience preparing a broad range of tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1040-NR, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and 1041.
• Strong technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, organization, and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and client-service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Ability to work the full seasonal schedule from January 4 through April 16, 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and Bloomberg Income Tax Planner.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation will be determined based on experience. Bonus or commission arrangements and benefits, if applicable, will be discussed during the hiring process.
