Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing firm. You will manage tax and related assignments with minimal supervision and mentor Staff Accountants. Some roles may be remote or hybrid; discuss options with your recruiter.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 1–3 years in public accounting, and CPA progression or licensure is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA exam or CPA license in progress/possession preferred.
• 1–3 years of public accounting experience or equivalent balance of education and work experience.
• CPA license a plus; strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax projects for designated clients with minimal oversight by Managers.
• Conduct engagement reviews and supervise staff to improve profitability.
• Manage increasingly complex engagements and mentor staff accountants.
• Develop client relationships through professional and responsive service.
• Research, analyze data, prepare reports and provide practical recommendations.
