Jobot is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant to join our team in the North Dallas area. This remote-friendly role requires strong tax accounting expertise and the ability to communicate complex tax information to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in tax accounting.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Self-starter with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for Corporations, S-Corporations, LLCs, partnerships, foundations, and trusts.
• Maintain tax records/books; multiyear tax projections and financial analysis.
• Assist in due diligence and M&A; assess tax impact of transactions.
• Research and plan to determine tax impact of activities and transactions.
• Implement strategies to minimize tax liability per current law.
• Coordinate with accounting and legal on entity organization/dissolution.
• Monitor tax return compliance deadlines and file informational returns.
