You will handle tax planning and review of individual, trust, foundation, partnership, and corporate returns, including consolidated and multi-state filings, while interacting with clients, audit managers, and tax staff.

The role requires a degree in accounting or law; CPA, MS in Taxation, or LLM preferred; about five years in tax at a public accounting firm

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or law.
• CPA, MS in Taxation, and/or LLM preferred (or in process).
• Approximately 5 years of experience working in tax for a public accounting firm, or similar industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns in accordance with firm procedures and policies.
• Completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Addressing roadblocks by asking appropriate questions and seeking counsel.
• Setting effective work assignment priorities.
• Ensuring that job execution, documentation, and completion adhere to required policies and procedures.
• Producing clear, concise, thorough, and professional-quality results.
