Job summary

Arcadia is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to lead the preparation and review of federal and state returns for high net worth individuals and a small volume of business entities. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely filing while serving as a technical resource to the tax team.

You will independently resolve complex tax questions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with Financial Planners to reflect tax strategies in client filings. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Extensive tax preparation and review experience.
• Expertise in federal and state individual income taxes.
• Experience with small-business and related entity returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state high net worth individual returns.
• Manage tax engagements through preparation, review, finalization, and filing.
• Perform detailed technical reviews of returns prepared by other tax professionals.
• Research and resolve complex federal and local state tax questions, documenting conclusions.
• Identify missing information and potential tax issues during preparation and review.
