W3Global in Avon, Indiana seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to join our public accounting firm. You will work with clients on tax compliance and financial reporting, requiring five years of tax and accounting experience.

The position is full-time with overtime during busy season; a portion of work may be performed remotely, while the majority is on-site at our Avon office. Strong communication and CPA credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with at least five years in tax and small business accounting.
• Strong knowledge of current professional tax practices.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Experience with small business accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and staff.
• Ability to work under time constraints and during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Communicate with partners, staff, and clients to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintain professional standards and technical knowledge through workshops, seminars, publications, personal networks, and/or professional societies.
• Remain current on general economic and political trends and possible tax or other legislation impacting the business climate.
• Contribute to the overall success of the firm and staff by promoting efficient execution throughout the engagement while cultivating positive client relationships.
• Research issues and respond to client and staff questions in a simple, understandable fashion.
• Manage multiple client requests in an efficient and timely manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
