Qualifications

• 10+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Knowledge of federal and California tax law.
• Proficiency with tax software, Excel, and related accounting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S-corporations.
• Manage tax engagements and ensure timely, accurate filings.
• Identify planning opportunities and provide client recommendations.
• Communicate with clients on tax matters and document requests.
• Research tax issues and support client-specific recommendations.
• Provide bookkeeping and accounting support as needed.
• Maintain organized workpapers and client files.
