Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Strong tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research experience.
• Experience managing tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong client-facing experience, ideally with high-net-worth owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Staff Accountants and Interns on tax engagements.
• Manage tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Prepare and review complex returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts.
• Provide client-facing tax planning and advisory support.

Senior Tax Accountant | Springfield, MO / Fayetteville, AR

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 | Hybrid

Abacus!, a partner firm of Current, is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing Traditional Tax team in Springfield, MO or Fayetteville, AR.

We’re looking for professionals with:

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Strong tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research experience
• Experience managing tax engagements from planning through completion
• Strong client-facing experience, ideally working with high-net-worth business owners and their entities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
• Experience with UltraTax, QuickBooks/QBO, and AdvanceFlow is a plus
