We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to play an integral role in our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax regulations, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a track record of delivering accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring our company's compliance with tax laws and regulations. Your duties will include

• Preparing and reviewing corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns (1065, 1041).
• Researching complex tax matters and providing guidance to management.
• Assisting with tax planning and strategy to minimize tax liabilities.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensuring company compliance.
• Coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
• Managing tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities.
• Maintaining and improving internal controls related to tax processes.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Accountant position will have the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on preparing 1065 and 1041 tax forms.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
