Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base, including businesses, non-profits, and high-net-worth individuals. You'll oversee financial reporting, manage complex accounting tasks, and provide valuable insights to help clients make informed financial decisions.
Location: Boston, MA

Pay: Competitive salary depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and client requirements
* Manage general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end close processes
* Lead or participate in audits, reviews, and compilations
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and proactive support
* Assist with tax planning and compliance, collaborating with the tax team as needed
* Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and feedback
* Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive improvements

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree or CPA certification highly preferred)
* Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm environment
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and auditing procedures
* Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, ProSystem fx, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
