Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, is seeking a Senior Target Analyst to support the Army’s PA E Fires Integrated Fires Directorate in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on targeting, data coordination, and joint planning across government, military, and industry partners.

The candidate will maintain target-related information, ensure proper handling of sensitive data, and collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with test and exercise initiatives. On-site five days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
• 10+ years with a Master’s degree or 18+ years with a Bachelor’s in a technical/intelligence/engineering field.
• Experience in targeting, intelligence, operations, test, or systems integration.
• Ability to coordinate requirements across multiple organizations and disciplines.
• Willingness to work in Huntsville, AL in person five days per week; telework by exception.

Our Financial Management & Business Analysis Portfolio supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC); the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C); the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM); the Defense Health Agency (DHA); and many other DoD customers. We ensure the Army FM systems and processes are modernized and integrated to provide a complete range of financial and cost information needed for the Army to conduct business transactions, provide accountability to the public, and to support performance reporting and decision making. We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives.

We are looking for a Senior Target Analyst to join our team to support the Army's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires' Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD).

Responsibilities

• Support targeting activities associated with Integrated Fires, test and evaluation, exercises, demonstrations, and operational planning.


• Coordinate target development, target data, nominations, target sets, prioritization, and supporting information across government, military, intelligence, test, and program organizations.


• Work with technical and operational stakeholders to ensure target requirements are understood, coordinated, and incorporated into applicable test and exercise planning.


• Support integration of target information with weapons, sensors, command and control, battle management, effects, and other Integrated Fires capabilities.


• Maintain target-related products, information, and coordinates requirements across multiple organizations while protecting classified information and ensuring appropriate handling of sensitive data.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Possess an active DoD SECRET clearance


• 10+ years of experience and a Master's degree in a technical, intelligence, operations, engineering, or related discipline OR 18+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a technical, intelligence, operations, engineering, or related discipline


• Experience in targeting, intelligence, operations, test, systems integration, or related activities


• Ability to analyze technical and operational information and coordinate requirements across multiple organizations


• Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate target-related information and products


• Ability to work effectively with military, government, contractor, intelligence, and technical personnel


• Ability to work in the Huntsville, Alabama area and support the IFD mission in person five days per week, eight hours per day. Telework is by exception based on mission requirements

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting Army targeting or intelligence organizations


• Experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Integrated Fires, or related capabilities


• Familiarity with target development, target nomination, target sets, or test target planning


• Experience supporting live test, exercises, demonstrations, or operational assessments


• Experience working with classified target information


• Experience coordinating across multiple Army, Joint, or DoD organizations
