Job summary

Hennig is seeking a Welder III – Tank Welder in a full-time role. You will independently interpret tank fabrication prints, fit and position components, perform multiple weld types and positions, and ensure watertight assemblies ready for testing and downstream operations.

You will have 5+ years MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting, certs D1.1 and D1.3, and the ability to read English. Safety, quality, and on-time delivery are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• D1.1 structural certification required.
• D1.3 11-gauge certification required.
• 5+ years MIG welding experience.
• One year manufacturing experience.
• Must read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform tank fit-up and welding per prints.
• Identify and repair nonconforming welds.
• Prepare units for testing and downstream operations.
• Operate cranes and forklifts after training.
• Maintain watertight welds and 5S compliance.
