Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group seeks a high-energy Talent Acquisition Sourcer in Hanover, MD to build a pipeline for technical programs and support the TA team with creative sourcing.

You will partner with TA Specialists to generate candidate pipelines, submit qualified candidates promptly, and develop innovative sourcing methods across job boards, social media, referrals, and networks while ensuring OFCCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 8 years of recruiting experience.
• Experience in government contracting industry as well as technical roles.
• Familiar with sourcing on various job boards and able to network.
• Expert-level experience with sourcing tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• General knowledge of HR practices, OFCCP compliance, EEO and APP.
• Familiarity with government proposal processes.
• Prior experience working with an Application Tracking System (ATS). Experience working with iCIMS preferred.
• Well-developed assessment, negotiation, collaboration, and consultation skills.
• Experienced recruiting all federal government clearance levels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service to internal and external customers (e.g., timely response, expediting processes and procedures, frequent 'high touch' communications, etc.).
• Partner closely with TA Specialists to generate candidate pipelines for hard to fill roles and future roles.
• Submit candidates in a timely manner.
• Develops effective, creative sourcing methods, techniques, plans, and strategies to attract and retain quality talent.
• Creates job posting content that complies with internal and external requirements and ensures timely posting pursuant to sourcing plans.
• Conducts pre-interview strategy meeting with hiring managers and other interviewers to analyze position description, develop interview questions and establish an interview process.
• Proactively sources candidates through a variety of avenues: internet, cold calling, job boards, social media, referrals, and networks.
• Uses detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength of the candidates.
• Fully screen and vet candidates during preliminary screening calls with candidates prior to sharing the feedback with Talent Acquisition Specialist and/or Hiring Managers.
• Establishes pipeline of candidates to meet existing and upcoming needs.
